e.s.t. takes home the Swedish Grammy

Stockholm, January 07, 2009:
e.s.t. Esbjörn Svensson Trio won the Swedish Grammy in the category "Jazz" for their latest record Leucocyte (ACT 9018-2)

In September 2008 Leucocyte entered the Swedish pop charts on # 2 and the Jazz Charts on # 1.

In December it has been awarded a GOLD record for more than 10.000 units sold in Sweden.

In Germany the album has already received PLATINUM in November and has been awarded with the German Record Critics' Award.

Leucocyte has been accomplished more than one month before the tragic death of Esbjörn Svensson and has since become the musical legacy of e.s.t.! It is the most venturesome album Esbjörn Svensson (p), Dan Berglund (b), and Magnus Öström (dr) have recorded as e.s.t.
Since November 08 Leucocyte is also available as double vinyl album (ACT 9018-1)
